PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS: PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS

Photovoltaic System in Verona

Our company can help businesses economically assess the investment and financial benefit that can be gained by installing a photovoltaic system.

Converting solar power into electric power thanks to a photovoltaic system is certainly convenient both in economic and environmental terms. At Cubi Srl we assist the customer as early as in the study of a Business Plan focused on indentifying the real advantages in terms of cost.

Speaking about solar power: the business plan must identify the total cost of the implementation of the project and maintenance expenses on one side, and the overall income generated by the installation over time on the other; also indirect income, in terms of economic savings generated by the user’. By comparing the costs and benefits of the investment it is possible to estimate the actual convenience of the entire operation and the business plan is the tool used to do so.

Photovoltaic Cost Analysis and Business Plan

Cubi Srl deals with the drafting of the Business Plan, which is a document that sums up the economic calculation of a project and identifies, in the most possibly detailed manner, all the costs associated to a project, estimating the returns over time by calculating the payback period and the subsequent income. The business plan must prove how the investment will be convenient over time and makes it possible to have a preview of the economic returns generated by the installation of a photovoltaic plant.

Types of photovoltaic systems: roof mounted, ground mounted and floating

Roof mounted systems

Roof mounted systems are the standard photovoltaic systems, which are, for example, installed on the rooftops of buildings, that allow to store solar energy and transform it into power for the building.

Ground mounted panel

Ground-mounted photovoltaic systems are usually less expensive for the fact that they are installed on the bare ground, so they don’t need significant project indications.

These types of plants can be of two types:

Fixed or Monoxial trackers that during the day follow, therefore automatically move, according to the best solar angle. Therefore the movement they will follow is from East to West, amounting to a 110-degree angle.

These panels are installed on a support that is approximately 1 meter above the ground in order to allow the rotation of the solar panels. The tracking is done thanks to a motor, located on every row of ground installed panels and able to be remote-controlled through the use of a specific software, which avoids shade areas in order to guarantee maximum solar efficiency.

Floating

A floating type of plant, made up by a single floating platform in polyethylene tubes, closed at the extremities and joined to a metal structure on which the support and fixing system of the photovoltaic modules, arranged in a double pitch, has been created.

Bi-facial photovoltaic systems

Cubi Srl is able to handle and install so called bi-facial photovoltaic systems. These plants have the peculiarity of being double and able to generate power from both sides of the cells, effectively doubling energy production.

Industrial photovoltaic systems

Cubi Srl is at the customer’s side to study solutions aimed towards energy efficiency. In the industrial sector, the choice of installing a photovoltaic system is strategic to become independent in terms of energy resources and for saving on consumption.

Photovoltaic systems with storage

More energy and fewer costs: photovoltaic systems with storage feature the installation of a battery that is able to store excess energy and allow the consumer to use at the right moment.

The storage system makes it possible to lower bill costs and use them for systems such as electric power points to charge vehicles and the like.

Revamping photovoltaic systems

The revamping of the systems relates to all the activities performed to modify and improve a pre-existing photovoltaic system. As the years go by, some parts of the panels could get damaged or be less efficient; the revamping is done to re-modernize and maximize their performance. Usually a plant lasts 25 years, but time, the elements or other factors can reduce its performance: these cases require an intervention in order to restore optimal conditions.
